Some Children’s Costumes Purchased via Overseas Direct Purchase Fail to Meet Domestic Safety Standards Consumers are increasingly purchasing children’s party dresses and costumes at low prices through overseas direct-purchase platforms. Ahead of Halloween, the Korea Consumer Agency (President: Yoon Soo Hyun) conducted a safety inspection of 17 children’s costumes sold on overseas direct-purchase platforms. The results showed that 52.9% (9 products) failed to meet domestic safety standards, indicating a need for heightened consumer caution. |
