Discrepancy Between Electric Vehicle Dashboard Display and Actual Driving Range

Electric vehicles (EVs) are quieter, more eco-friendly, and cheaper to maintain compared to internal combustion engine vehicles. However, there are also complaints about the inconvenience of frequent charging due to the relatively shorter driving range. For the safe driving of EVs, it is important to check the actual driving range, which varies by vehicle type and season.

To provide safe driving information for consumers, the Korea Consumer Agency (President Yoon Soo Hyun) conducted tests to evaluate the actual driving range of three EV models from three different brands under summer and winter conditions.
