Certain Household Chemical Products Found to be Describing Themselves Using Prohibited Expressions Like Non-toxic and Harmless Consumers should be wary as instances of harm arising from the misuse of household chemical products commonly used in daily life (bathroom cleaners (bleach), windshield washer fluid, capsule detergents, etc.) are on the rise. Accordingly, as a result of an investigation by the Korea Consumer Agency (President: Yoon Soo-hyun) into the status of child-resistant packaging, labeling, and advertising for 50* household chemical products available for sale in the market, it was found that some products used prohibited expressions such as non-toxic, eco-friendly, and harmless, thus necessitating improvements. |
