KCA Launches Mobile Chat Consultation Service (Somang Chat)

Korea Consumer Agency will open a “mobile chat consultation service (Somang Chat)” from July 3, 2023 to improve public convenience as demand for mobile-based public services continues to increase. Currently, consumers are counseled via phone (by dialing 1372 without an area code) or via the internet (through the Consumer Counseling Center). In the future, consumers will also be able to conveniently receive counseling via real-time chat regarding inconveniences suffered while making purchases.
