Moisturizing Effect of Body Lotion Varies by Product

During the dry season, body lotion is used more frequently for skin moisturization, etc. Korea Consumer Agency tested body lotions of 10 popular brands.

The test results indicated varying moisturizing effects among the products, but no significant differences were observed in terms of texture, spreadability, etc. The products met the safety criteria for heavy metal content, preservatives, etc., and the price per 100 mL of product varied by as much as 2.5 times. For the packaging material recyclability, all products, with the exception of one product rated excellent for recycling, were found to be of average or lower average.
