Korea Consumer Agency Announces Signing of Pledge with 18 Food Manufacturers

-Cooperative system to provide information on reduction in food packaging sizes to be established-

Korea Consumer Agency (President Yoon, Soo Hyun) signed a “Pledge for the Provision of Information such as Product Size” with 18 major food manufacturers* on Thursday, January 25, 2024.

This pledge is intended to establish a cooperative system with major food manufacturers to strengthen the monitoring of changes in size of food packaging and disclose related information to help consumers make informed product purchase choices.
