Disposable Containers Contain up to 4.5 Times More Microplastics Than Reusable Ones - Our consumption habits need to change to reduce our exposure to microplastics - With the popularity of food delivery services, the corresponding use of plastic disposable items has increased, raising significant concerns among customers about microplastics*. In response, Korea Consumer Agency (President Jang Duck-jin) has conducted a study on the amount and risk of microplastic exposure in disposable and reusable containers available on the market. According to their findings, disposable containers have 2.9 to 4.5 times higher levels of microplastics than their reusable counterparts. * Microplastics (MP) are typically defined as plastic particles smaller than 5mm
