Coating Durability, a Key Performance Indicator of Frying Pans, Varies Considerably Between Products - None of the tested products showed problems with handle strength, oil leakage, or safety from harmful substances - As home cooking has become widespread due to the growing popularity of food content, consumer interest in frying pans, a representative household kitchen utensil, is also increasing markedly. Accordingly, Korea Consumer Agency (President Jang Duck-jin) tested and evaluated thirteen major brands of frying pans. The results of the evaluation showed that the overall quality of the tested utensils was excellent, but that the most important feature, namely the durability of their surface coating (abrasion resistance), differed by product. |
