Dishwasher Detergents Differ in Cleaning Performance and Economic Feasibility

The demand for dishwasher detergent is increasing as people have became more cautious about hygiene and are choosing to eat at home due to the prolonged pandemic situation. However, there is a lack of information regarding the quality of dishwasher detergents.

As a result of testing quality and safety of eight dishwasher detergents, Korea Consumer Agency(President Jang Duck-Jin, KCA) found that each product show difference in cleaning performance, economic feasibility and recyclability. On the other hand, all products met relevant standards in terms of harmful substance, labeling and biodegradability.
