Metallic Foreign Substances(Iron Dust) Detected in Powder Supplement Products Exceeds Safety Standards
As interest in health care has heightened due to prolonged pandemic situation, an increasing number of consumers are purchasing powdered supplement products that are easy to consume.
However, some of these products require attention as they contain metallic foreign substances that exceed the amount suggested by safety standards.
Korea Consumer Agency (President Jang Duck-Jin, KCA) found products that breach safety standards through an inspection of 40 powder supplement products* distributed·sold online.
