2020 Monitored results of domestic distribution of overseas recalled products Overseas recalled products are still being distributed and sold in the Korean market. Consumers need to be careful for such products. □ KCA prohibited the distribution of 153 overseas recalled products last year. In 2020, the Korea Consumer Agency (President Lee Hee-sook, KCA) monitored whether overseas recalled products (from Europe, Canada, U.S., etc.) were still circulating. As a result, a total of 153 products* were found to be still in the Korean market. The KCA issued corrective action recommendations for such products (prohibition of sale, refund, free repair, etc.). *16 additional products (11.7%) compared to 2019 (137 products) |
