Harmful substances detected from several camping chairs and picnic mats

As more and more people enjoy camping or picnic at summer resorts or urban parks, the number of consumers purchasing camping chairs and picnic mats are also on the rise.

However, research on safety and labelling by Korea Consumer Agency (President Lee Hee-sook) showed that out of 29* camping chairs and picnic mats in distribution and marketplace, several products contained harmful substances and required precaution by consumers.
