Amazon Leads the way in Frequency of Usage, iHerb does better in consumer satisfaction - The greatest satisfaction with the delivery service, 'malltail' and the buying service, 'CANiSHOW[myamazon]' -
The Korea Consumer Agency surveyed on 1,000 people who frequently used Overseas Direct Purchase (ODP), such as the overseas online shopping malls, web-sites of deliver service, and of buying service regarding consumer satisfaction.
◎ Overseas Online Shopping Mall It appears that USA Amazon(55.9%), ebay(38.2%), iHerb(36.8%), etc. are the most frequently used overseas online shopping malls in Korea.

Iherb(U.S.A, 4.23), which mainly sells health supplement food and organic product, etc., received the highest score in satisfaction levels of users followed by Amazon(U.S.A, 3,66) and shopbop(U.S.A, 3.66). Iherb was evaluated as the highest satisfaction levels in 'quality and price, promptness and safety of delivery, after-sale service', etc. and Taobao.com received a top ranking for consumer satisfaction in 'diversity of products'.
<Satisfaction Levels of Overseas Online Shopping Malls> (Unit : score)
◎ Overseas Delivery Service Consumers mostly use the overseas delivery service as follows: malltail(36.2%), wemakepricebox(15.8%), newyorkgirls(6.5%), iporter(4.3%), ohmyzip(3.9%), etc., when they purchase products. Malltail(3.50) received the highest score in overall satisfaction level, followed by wemakepricebox(3.46) and newyork girls(3.46) among the top five delivery services. Wemakepricebox saw the highest consumer satisfaction level towards 'promptness of delivery'. Iporter and malltail received top rankings for consumer satisfaction in 'safety of delivery' and 'after-sale service', respectively. |
