Korea Consumer Agency has published ‘2011 Results of Operating Consumer Education at School’.
School curriculum in Korea does not include a specialized curriculum subject for consumer education, and it leads to difficulties in systematic consumer education. For this reason, we at the KCA designate elementary and middle schools as being designated schools for consumer education and support them by developing and providing various types of consumer education contents. Result of operating the designated schools are also known to home and local community via other schools and students, teachers, and parents. Also, they are found to contribute to practicing rational consumption life. Please, refer to the attachment, ‘2011 Result of Operating Consumer Education at School’, for details and specification.
