The KCA President attended the ICPEN conference and made a presentation on 'Best Practice in Consumer Education for the Vulnerable Population' | ||||||||

The Korea Consumer Agency(President: Young-seen Kim, www.kca.go.kr) took part in the International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network(ICPEN) Conference in San Jose, Costa Rica from Feb. 26th to March 2nd. At the Conference, she spoke about 'the KCA's Consumer Education and Best Practice for the Vulnerable Population.' In addition, the KCA delegation also made presentations on 'the Fraud Prevention Month Campaign' and 'Cross-border Consumer Dispute Resolution in Asia' as a FPM coordinator and a moderator for a Break-out sessionxx, respectively. * The International Consumer Protection and Enforcement Network(ICPEN) is an organization composed of consumer protection authorities from almost 40 countries, whose aim is to: - Protect consumers' economic interests around the world, - Share information about cross-border commercial activities that may affect consumer welfare, - Encourage global cooperation among law enforcement agencies.
