The KCA Held a Meeting with CEOs of Travel Companies
- For Consumer Empowerment and Win-Win Cooperation -
On May 23rd, the Korea Consumer Agency (President: Kim Young-seen, www.kca.go.kr) held a meeting with CEOs of Travel Industry for consumer empowerment and win-win cooperation between consumers and the industry.
The meeting was attended by the KCA President Young-seen Kim and CEOs from Korean travel companies including Lotte Tour, Modu Tour, JauTour, Very Good Tour, Hana Tour, and Kal Tour.
During the Meeting, the participants discussed mutual efforts and cooperative ways for consumer empowerment and rational consumption life related to travel and made efforts to narrow the mutual perception gap regarding the travel market.
President Kim asked the Industry representatives to double their efforts for active quality control for their travel products, strengthened consumer information provision to enhance consumer ability for selection, and consumer satisfaction-oriented management policy.
The Agency revealed its will to continuously hold a meeting with CEOs of major industries for consumer empowerment and rational consumption life. Meanwhile, the KCA held a meeting with CEOs of homeshopping industry on March 29th.
