The City of Busan to Co-host a seminar with KCA

 - Korea·Japan financial consumer issues and improvement -

On 29^th October, KCA co-hosted a seminar aiming to activate consumer protection in non-Seoul areas, at Westin Chosun Hotel, Busan. Experts from Korea and Japan attended this seminar, under the theme of ‘Korea-Japan financial consumer issues and improvement’.

Currently, the Korean society is arranging various financial systems for the low income bracket, as a way of realization of social justice. Its neighbor Japan has been practicing various law·systems for about 30 years, being aware of multi-debt consumer damage. Thus, Busan City and KCA decided to host the seminar 「Korea·Japan financial consumer issues and improvement」, in order to learn about Japan’s reaction cases and experiences, aiming to find suitable ways to protect consumers with lower income in the financial market.

It is hoped that this seminar can work as a stepping stone for the cooperation of Korea and Japan in solving financial consumer problems of the low income bracket, and also activate consumer protection in non-Seoul areas.
