2. SupportingEUCCK member companies on consumer education to create a consumer-oriented business environment;
3. Promoting foreign investment inflow from European businesses through building consumer confidence by communicating consumer redress policies;
4. Exchanges of information and periodical publications;
5.Seeking advice on the legislative system related to consumer protection; and
6. Cooperating to develop consumer-related regulations that are both consistent with international standards and comprehensively beneficial to consumers in Korea.
Based on the Agreement, the two organizations are going to fold out a variety of cooperative businesses such as holding a joint seminar related to ‘Consumer Policy of Global Companies’, carrying out consumer education activates for member companies in order to create a consumer-oriented corporate culture, and supporting cross-border consumer dispute resolution.

          The Agreement is expected to provide a chance to review how global companies can improve their consumer policy and revitalize their investment in Korea by empowering foreign consumers’ rights and interests.
