KCA Invited children from local orphanage and offered educative programs for smart consumption | ||||||||

Celebrating ‘a Day of Family’, the Korea Consumer Agency (President: Kim, Young-Seen, www.kca.go.kr) invited approx. 20 children from local orphanage, underprivileged and vulnerable consumer group, to dinner on May 17, 2010 and provided them with a variety of educative programs for smart consumption life.
In particular, the KCA offered consumer safety education for the children to lead safe consumption life from damage cases of every kind the children may face in their daily consumption lives.
Also, during the visit, the children had chances for tour of safety and quality comparison tests on children products such as numerous ride-on toys and wheeled ride-on such as bicycles and inline skate and fireworks and took part in testing for themselves. The tour is expected to help children, future consumers, lead smart consumption lives and prepare to be smart consumers in the future.
