     The KFTC along with the KCA and the Korea National Council of Consumer Organization completed establishing tentatively named ‘National Consumer Counseling Center’ and started nationwide pilot services from Jan. 4th, 2010.
 
     A single-number of 1372 is used nationwide for the National Consumer Counseling Center. National Consumer Counseling Center unifies all the existing scattered consumer counseling agencies and is able to provide prompt counseling services as well as collect and manage counseling information.
 
     A call placed to telephone number 1372 is automatically forwarded to representatives waiting among counselors belonging to eight consumer organizations and 16 local governments across the nation.
 
     As consumer hot line calls are efficiently divided thanks to the establishment, consumer complaints due to long call wait time are expected to be dissolved.
 
     Meanwhile, consumers can get online counseling around the clock via portal site (www.ccn.go.kr) and also enjoy a variety of useful information including automatic counseling service and consumer counseling case search.
 
*Automatic counseling service: consumers themselves find information they need by answering the prepared questions related to consumer complaints on the website.
