Consumers can now receive consumer information via Twitter, a free social networking and micro-blogging service, as well.
The Korea Consumer Agency (President: Kim, Young-Seen, www.kca.go.kr) said that the Agency started using Twitter (http://twitterkr.com/kca_news) to give more convenience to consumers and realize two-way communications in consumer information by diversifying consumer information-providing channels.
Via Twitter service, consumers are able to promptly receive a variety of information necessary for consumption life such as information on product test, product purchase guide, damage prevention information, consumer counseling news flash, consumer safety warning, and legal information.
In commemoration of its Twitter start, the Agency holds a ‘Daily Quiz’ event to induce more people to visit its Twitter by asking a simple quiz of consumer-related knowledge and giving a hint by providing a URL Link from Nov. 17th to Dec. 31st (weekday only). Six winners of daily quiz will be drawn for free gift certificates (KRW5,000 worth) every day.
