Issues With Defects and Repair Take the Largest Share of the Consumer Complaints About Interior Design Services

- Consumers are recommended to closely check the constructor information and liability period of construction works -

As people tend to spend more time at home since the spread of COVID-19, demand for home interior has increased as well*. However, as a result of analyzing the complaints it received, the Korea Consumer Agency (President Jang Duck-Jin, KCA) found that many consumer damage cases arise from deficiency or delay of service related to construction defects.

In 2021, the average consumption related to home interior per month increased by 19.2% from that of 2020 (Statistics Korea, Household Survey)
