Charging Speed of Wireless Car Chargers Slows Down Up To 2.8 Times at Higher Temperature

Wireless car chargers are made to be mounted on the dashboard or vent of a car to place and charge smartphones. Although the demand for wireless car chargers is increasing for their convenience, there is not enough information regarding the quality of related products.

As a result of testing 10 wireless car chargers, Korea Consumer Agency(President Jang Duck-Jin, KCA) found that charging time may increase up to 2.8 times at temperature higher than 30℃. Thus, consumers need to take precaution when mounting a charger near the vent.

On the other hand, the chargers did not differ much in terms of charging time at room temperature(20℃), stability and durability of automatic grip.
