Consumer damage warning concerning the overseas shopping mall “Webttress”
- There have been many cases of consumer damages related to the non-delivery of products purchased online from Webttress, a US shopping mall -
Consumers are advised to exercise caution as the number of consumer complaints related to the overseas online shopping mall “Webttress” (webttress.com), which sells beds, mattresses, etc., continues to rise.
The Korea Consumer Agency (President Lee Hee-sook, KCA) received a total of fifteen consumer complaints on the “Webttress” from the second half of 2020 to April 2021, of which twelve cases were received from February to March of this year.
* The number of cases reported and referred to the "Cross Border Transaction Consumer Portal" operated by the Korea Consumer Agency and the National Consumer Counseling Call Center "1372 Consumer Counseling Center" operated by the Korea Fair Trade Commission and participated in by the Korea National Council of Consumer Organizations, the Korea Consumer Agency, and municipal governments.
