Electrolyzed water generator that electrolyzes tap water or tap water added with salt to produce sterilized water (electrolyzed water) is gaining popularity among consumers.

Therefore, the Korea Consumer Agency (President Lee Hee-sook, KCA) surveyed 15 electrolyzed water generators on the market, and found that the electrolyzed water used only with tap water showed insufficient sterilization effect, contrary to what the advertisements stated.
