Many replaceable mask filters falsely/excessively advertising performance/quality

Demands for replaceable mask filters attached or inserted into cotton (fabric) masks are on the rise, as the revised 「Infections Disease Control and Prevention Act」mandates wearing of masks. However, it was found that most distributed products are falsely or excessively advertised, let alone poor quality.

The results were based on joint research on safety status of replaceable mask filters distributed and sold on online shopping malls by Korea Consumer Agency (President Lee Hee-sook) and National Assemblyman Yoo Ui-dong of People Power Party (Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek-Eul).
