- Concerns regarding no warning sound when drivers do not fasten their seat belt-
People who die from traffic accidents with seat belts on are 3.95 while those of no safety belts are 14.65(3.7 times up) per 1,000. Seat belts contribute to preventing traffic accidents. Accordingly, the Korea Customer Agency(President Han Kyeon-pyo, KCA) advised 13 online businesses(open markets and shopping malls) against selling and distributing the products. In addition, the KCA has taken measures to prevent the manufacturing and encouraged customers not to use them as drivers’s safety comes first before convenience.
