Advanced Workshop on Cross-border Law Enforcement • Investigations and Redress 

 The three-day ASEAN-U.S. FTC-KCA-ACCC Advanced Workshop on Cross-border Law Enforcement • Investigations and Redress was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from Aug. 27th to Aug. 29th, 2012. The United States Federal Trade Commission, the Korea Consumer Agency, and the Australia Competition and Consumer Commission co-sponsored the Workshop with the assistance of the ASEAN Committee on Consumer Protection, the ASEAN Secretariat and the Office of the Consumer Protection Board of Thailand.

 The Workshop was participated by 40 experts from nine ASEAN member nations of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam out of the ten member countries. Also, consumer experts from China, the ASEAN Secretariat, the US, Australia, and Korea took part in the Workshop.

 Meanwhile, the Workshop Agenda includes Investigative Techniques, Consumer Redress, Online and Mobile Fraud, Consumer Education, Complaint Database Development and Architecture, and Cross Border Networks.
